Christmas Time!

Here are some pictures from my Christmas. We spent Christmas morning at home with my Aunt and Grandparents who have been down visiting and then we headed over to my Great Aunt and Uncles place for a big family dinner.

This is my Great Uncle Paul above modeling his new hat and shirt haha what a look on that face!

This is my awesome Canadian Tire Mug I got from my Mom to show my undying love for my place of employment, I thought it was pretty cute.

This is my brother on Christmas morning...clearly my family knows how to take pictures

This is a picture I took while in Ottawa from Mackenzie King bridge. I have a couple of pictures from pretty well this exact location of the canal and parliament buildings but I have never gotten one with all the Christmas lights. I loved how all the lights lead up to the Parliament Buildings.

I know I have been lacking on my blogging since my 30 day Project, but I promise I will be posting more in the New Year. New Years Resolution! I also have some exciting news. I am moving back to Ottawa! woot woot!

5 Fortune Sunday

It's Saturday, and this Fortune is not from a Sunday...but I like the way it sounded. I had a fortune cookie about a week ago and got 5 fortunes! I think people say it's bad luck when you get more than 1 or something, but I got 5 of the same one. I decided to take it as a good sign and believe what it says. It makes me feel pretty good, and plus I know I am effing hilarious :p I've been attempting to make some good decisions for myself, and focus solely on me so I can discover who I am and what I truly want. I'm scared to death, but at the same time feel a calm because in the back of my mind I have wanted to focus on myself for a while. I think visiting Ottawa again will give me some perspective. I'll be back back where I feel most comfortable, at home, and with my awesome friends who give me an amazing amount of support. I hope you have enjoyed the ramblings of a confused soul.

30 Day Project-Day 30

Day 30 - A picture of someone you miss

I miss this cute little dog, Maggie. She passed away suddenly a couple weeks ago, it was pretty hard on the whole family. We had her for a couple of years, and got her from a foundation that adopts out rescue animals. She was a good dog, kind of moody towards me as I am sure you have heard lol but when she wanted to be loving she was the cutest thing. She used to be really timid when we first got her but over the years she became more and more comfortable with people.

30 Day Project-Day 29

Day 29- a picture that can always make me smile.

This picture always makes me laugh, it's from my 20th birthday, I stumbled across it a few weeks after this picture was actually taken and had and still have no recollection of this at all. Neither do Kelly or Chorn the other 2 in the photo. I just love how absolutely ridiculous it is and how we are all doing weird poses/ making weird faces. oh such good times :)

30 Day Project- Day 28

Day 28- a picture of something I am afraid of.

I think one of my biggest fears is deep water. I have a hard time jumping into deep water without panicking a bit. I don't really think it is a fear of downing, but more of a fear of the unknown, not being able to know what is surrounding me.

20 Day Project-Day 27

Day 27- a picture of a family member and I.

This would be the most recent picture of my siblings and I. Oh Photobooth how you amuse me.

30 Day Project- Day 26

Day 26 - A picture of something that means a lot to you.

I think object wise my camera means the most to me. It allows me to express myself and be creative. It gives me enjoyment and I love learning about it and things that have to do with it. I love taking a series of pictures and looking through them and being like holy crap I'm awesome. that sounds cocky but I think everyone gets that sometimes with something they are passionate about, and I mean that's not a feeling I get often. Its nice to put effort into something and get good results from it, and if I don't then its still good because I learn what I need to do to make them into Brittany approved photos.
