Adventure Mayhem

Hello, I know it has been a week since I last updated. I have been so busy busy. I have also had issues with trying to get somewhere to get my pictures off of my Sony camera. I lost the camera cord to my computer and so I always have to burn my pictures to disk using a kiosk at Shoppers Drugmart. But the ones at Rideau have been out of service and I just have not had the time to get out to another one.

So I left off my adventures in Pembroke. We headed to Sudbury on Tuesday after the shoot in Pembroke, spent a good 3 hours on Wednesday scouting out our location at the Laurentien University for our shoot the next day with the President of the school. I have some pictures of the area we used that I will post as soon as I get those pictures.

After Sudbury we headed on down to Wakefield to stay the night before our shoot at a Cottage in Cantley. Wakefield was a lot of fun and is such a nice little tourist town. Once I get the pictures of there I plan to do a whole little blog just on the town and what I did there. The next day, on Friday. we headed up to this woman's cottage to do a portrait of her. The article we were shooting for is on people with their Bachelor of Education who do other things other than teach. This particular women writes the curriculum for french immersion, and so the reason we shot at her cottage was because she can do her work anywhere so we wanted to really capture that. The cottage was beautiful, the building itself apparently was originally a sheep barn back from the 1840s, it was amazing how they turned it into a cottage. Also they way she decorated her cottage helped us out amazingly and made getting the shot very easy. The pictures above is of our set. and the ones below are just little areas around the cottage. Over all I had an amazing trip, learned a lot, and can not wait to be able to do it all again, except one day I will be the photographer and maybe one of you will be my assistant!
