Life Takes Control

Oh how it has been forever since my last blog update! I am sorry to my devoted friends who have been wanting more pictures and writing. Life has been a bit crazy lately, I moved back to Morinville, AB which is a small town outside of Edmonton. I'm living back with my parents to take advantage of the higher pay in Alberta and the lack of living costs, as well as to be with my family again! I had some fun this summer with my boyfriend at his family cottage and got to take some sports action shots of him wake-boarding.

I also got to do a nice little shoot with some friends and there band We Were The Fires of Rome. We did a quick little shoot in their jam space while they were practicing one evening. I think it may have been one of the quickest shoots I have done of a band but I got a lot of worthy shots out of it.
My music photography is definitely taking a bite in the butt being out here as I don't have the everyday access to shows as I did in Ottawa, but I plan to still get in some shoots here and there when I can. I think being here will give me a lot of time to work on my portrait photography and more nature photography now that I have a new scenery. Lets see what this adventure brings for my work and passion!
